Livestreaming Breaks Barriers, Showcasing the All-Around Appeal of Intelligent Manufacturing


 

During the exhibition, a series of specialized live-streaming events titled “Equipment Manufacturing: A Deep Dive into Cutting-Edge Technologies” was successfully held. The first session, “A Panoramic Exploration: An All-Around Look at Cutting-Edge Equipment,” and the second, “Strategic Focus: Strategic Insights into Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing and Industry Applications,” were broadcast simultaneously across four official video channels—General Technology Group, Intelligent Manufacturing, Seco Industrial Insights, and Equipment Powerhouse. Leveraging an integrated online–offline approach, these broadcasts broke down geographical barriers and provided a comprehensive, immersive showcase of the manufacturing prowess of the “national team” in machine tools. Throughout the live streams, professional hosts, accompanied by leaders and technical experts from machine tool companies and their subsidiaries, ventured directly to the exhibition booths to offer in-depth, multi-dimensional insights into the strategic direction, core technologies, product performance, and application scenarios of 34 exhibited units (sets), highlighting their robust capabilities and industry applications. Special emphasis was placed on showcasing the innovative breakthroughs of 17 newly launched products making their global debut. In total, the live streams attracted more than 80,000 online viewers and garnered nearly 150,000 likes, effectively amplifying brand visibility, enabling global customers to gain a direct appreciation of the technological leaps achieved by China’s high-end machine tools, and establishing an efficient and convenient online platform for communication and collaboration.

At this exhibition, the Group is showcasing a total of 34 units (sets) of high-end intelligent equipment, including 26 machine tool mainframes, 3 forming machine tool prototypes, 5 sets of precision measuring instruments, and 8 categories of core functional components. This product is primarily designed for the machining of long-axis, spatially complex rotational parts with stringent dimensional and geometric tolerances, offering outstanding advantages in high efficiency, high precision, and high rigidity. It features a modular design and a horizontal layout, equipped with three fully closed-loop linear feed axes and two rotary axes. The Y-axis adopts a single-column configuration, enabling flexible expansion with a wide range of optional configurations and supporting diverse machining processes and multi-specification tooling. With a single workpiece setup, the entire machining sequence or key operations can be completed, significantly enhancing both machining efficiency and accuracy, thereby providing reliable equipment support for high-end precision manufacturing.

This product is primarily used in industries such as machine tools, mold manufacturing, energy, shipbuilding and offshore engineering, and construction machinery. It features a modular design with a rigid, moving-table-and-moving-gantry layout, complemented by an independently developed cast-iron monolithic quenched rolling guideway that delivers exceptional rigidity and low friction—ensuring superior linear and positioning accuracy. A servo-driven, constant-temperature control system guarantees long-term, high-precision, stable operation. The machine is equipped with either an independently developed high-speed, high-torque internal-spindle or a mechanical spindle system, along with a wide range of fully automatic auxiliary milling heads; optional internal cooling further enhances versatility to meet diverse application requirements. Additionally, it includes a vertical–horizontal swappable tool magazine and a fully automatic head magazine, with optional pallet-changer and robotic tool-magazine configurations for line integration, significantly reducing auxiliary machining time and boosting equipment utilization efficiency. This makes the machine ideally suited for high-precision, high-efficiency machining of large structural components and large molds.

This product is designed for the precision machining of difficult-to-cut materials such as high-temperature alloys and titanium alloys, making it ideal for multi-variety, small-to-medium batch, high-precision manufacturing applications while delivering exceptional rigidity and efficiency. Featuring a modular design with a wide range of configuration options, it fully meets diverse customer machining requirements; it is equipped with an integrated machine thermal management system that ensures strong thermal rigidity and excellent dimensional stability; it comes standard with a 40-tool chain-type tool magazine and offers an optional flexible robotic tool changer for enhanced versatility; and it can be configured with a dual-pallet exchange system to boost machining throughput and facilitate automation and production-line upgrades. Core functional components—including the CNC control system, drive system, measurement and feedback system, rotary table, and swivel head—are all domestically produced, enabling broad application in critical sectors for the high-precision, high-efficiency machining of annular parts and box-type components.

 

 

HMC80Tep Horizontal Machining Center

This product is suitable for machining box-type, housing-type, disc-shaped, and complex-profile parts in industries such as automotive, mold making, valve manufacturing, and general machinery manufacturing. It enables automatic multi-process machining—milling, boring, drilling, reaming, broaching, and tapping—on all four faces of a part in a single clamping operation. The machine features a monolithic T-shaped bed with integral construction to ensure high rigidity; it incorporates hollow lead-screw cooling and spindle temperature-compensation technology, achieving positioning accuracy of 0.006 mm and repeat positioning accuracy of 0.004 mm; it employs hydraulic lifting combined with cam-driven table indexing for tool changing, with a cycle time of 12.5 seconds; and it utilizes cam-linked tool-changing technology, reducing tool-change time to 2.5 seconds.

 

 

H-TH6920 Floor-Type Milling and Boring Machining Center

This product is designed for high-efficiency, high-precision cutting operations and is widely used in industries such as shipbuilding, industrial machine tools, new-energy vehicles, and energy. Through structural optimization, its feed rate, reliability, and accuracy metrics have been comprehensively improved, with repeat positioning accuracy reaching as high as 0.008 mm. The equipment is equipped with a reliability testing system that supports end-to-end intelligent management and real-time condition monitoring; leveraging Digital Twin Technology , which can effectively reduce programming time by 40%, achieve a first-piece success rate of over 98%, and significantly optimize production efficiency and resource utilization.

 

 

PBC160BEM Vertical Gantry-Type CNC Planer-Milling-Boring Machine

This product is a next-generation, high-end CNC planer-milling-boring machine independently developed for applications in industrial machine tools, high-end molds, aerospace, energy equipment, shipbuilding, construction machinery, and other fields. The machine features a vertically mounted spindle headstock that delivers excellent thermal symmetry and outstanding positional accuracy stability. It is equipped with a 41 kW Siemens spindle motor paired with a two-speed gearbox, enabling a maximum spindle speed of 3,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 1,756 Nm, thus balancing heavy-load cutting at low speeds with high-precision machining at high speeds. The machine also incorporates two advanced intelligent systems: gravity-balanced spindle headstock and real-time compensation for thermal deformation of the boring spindle. Linear-axis positioning accuracy is 0.012 mm per 1,000 mm, with a repeat positioning accuracy of 0.008 mm, ensuring stable machining accuracy over extended periods. The B-axis employs a dual-motor backlash-compensation design combined with constant-pressure closed-loop hydrostatic guideways, achieving a positioning accuracy of 6 arcseconds and a repeat positioning accuracy of 3.6 arcseconds, thereby enabling smooth, backlash-free rotation even under heavy-load conditions.

 

VG63 High-Precision Vertical Grinding Machine

This product is a next-generation, high-precision vertical composite grinding machine independently developed by General Technology Group, primarily serving high-end manufacturing sectors such as bearings, aerospace, spindles, semiconductors, and pumps and valves. The equipment is equipped with core functional components—including a self-developed closed-loop hydrostatic worktable and closed-loop hydrostatic linear guides—and features a column-moving, cross-slide table configuration, ensuring excellent overall rigidity, lightweight moving parts, stable operation, and outstanding control performance. The machine tool can be flexibly configured with intelligent modules such as tool magazines, on-line measurement systems, and grinding vibration monitoring, making it suitable for a wide range of part types, high-precision requirements, and complex machining scenarios, thereby providing reliable equipment support for the precision manufacturing of critical components.

 

YH7226 CNC Worm Gear Grinding Machine with Abrasive Wheel

This product is a 13-axis, five-axis linkage CNC worm-wheel grinding machine independently developed by General Technology Group, primarily used for gear machining in traditional automobiles, new-energy vehicles, precision reducers, and other fields. The equipment features a dual-worktable spindle design and integrates automatic wheel balancing, automatic dressing, automated workpiece loading, automatic gear alignment, and fully automated grinding process control, enabling efficient, continuous production. Both the grinding-wheel spindle and the workpiece spindle are equipped with direct-drive technology, achieving a maximum grinding peripheral speed of 80 m/s and maintaining processing accuracy at GB Grade 3. The machine is also outfitted with specialized software for flexible dressing, polishing grinding, cycloidal grinding, and other functions, making it well-suited to machining complex tooth profiles and producing high-quality gear surfaces. Additionally, the equipment can be flexibly configured with gantry-type or articulated robots and automated material storage systems, comprehensively enhancing customers’ production-line automation and flexible manufacturing capabilities.

 

 

Free Forging Ring Rolling Production Line

This production line is a self-developed free-forging ring-rolling line by General Technology Group, widely used in the manufacturing of large forgings for critical applications such as wind power. The line integrates all key processes—including drawing and lengthening, upsetting, punching (and expanding) holes, mandrel twisting, bending, and offset chopping—enabling one-stop completion of free forging, ring forging, and ring rolling operations while ensuring that the roundness accuracy of typical annular or cylindrical components is better than 2‰ of the outer diameter. The line features comprehensive configuration: the forging presses cover a nominal force range from 800 tonnes to 13,500 tonnes, and the ring-rolling machines can handle rolled rings with outer diameters ranging from 16 meters down to 2,000 millimeters, thus meeting the requirements for producing extra-large forgings. The line employs a multi-station, high-precision free-forging billet-forming and punching process that enables continuous, efficient operation of steps such as upsetting, pre-punching, final punching, and mandrel-expanding; it is also equipped with precision extrusion control for lightweight rotating components, isothermal forging speed control, process data acquisition, and an adaptive fault-diagnosis and maintenance system, thereby ensuring long-term, efficient, stable, and reliable operation of the line and providing robust equipment support for the domestic production of core forgings for major industrial equipment.

 

 

UPT250 Ultra-Precision Single-Point Diamond Turning Machine

This product is a ultra-precision single-point diamond turning machine independently developed by General Technology Group, primarily used for the precision machining of components in industries such as optoelectronics, medical devices, and photovoltaic–thermal systems. The machine tool features a T-shaped layout and incorporates fully constrained ultra-precision hydrostatic guideways, high-rotation-accuracy spindle units, and an ultra-precision rotary table, enabling ultra-precision turning, grinding, and fly-cutter milling of parts with complex surface geometries. The machine bed is supported by a high-performance air-spring vibration isolation system, effectively isolating high-frequency vibrations; moreover, the protective enclosure is designed separately from the machine body to minimize interference from peripheral systems during machining.

 

 

L-Series 575 Three-Coordinate Measuring Machine

This product is equipped with a proprietary, in-house developed 3D vertical scanning probe, which is precisely tailored for coordinate measuring machine applications. During measurement, it accurately captures the surface contour data of the workpiece, ensuring high measurement accuracy. The precision mechanical mainframe adopts a moving bridge structure, with air-bearing guideways on all three axes—X, Y, and Z—and incorporates air-bearing technology to effectively reduce operational friction, eliminate vibration interference, and comprehensively ensure the stability and reliability of the measurement system. The electrical control system is powered by a Renishaw multi-axis motion controller, enabling coordinated multi-axis motion control for the CMM. Paired with the dedicated RationalDMIS measurement software, users can easily create feature-based measurements and perform dimensional and geometric tolerance calculations. This product is widely applicable across key high-end manufacturing sectors such as automotive, mold making, mechanical engineering, electronics, and medical technology, precisely meeting the core metrology needs of industry users.
